Dear Hartwood Community,
The Hartwood PTO is pleased to again offer Magnificent Mondays this school year! Magnificent Mondays are after-school classes for Hartwood students in grades K-5. These sessions provide the students with avenues to discover and develop their passions and interests. More information will come once we have established the sessions to be offered.
Magnificent Mondays Update: 12/2/25
A class description packet will be coming home in your child’s folder later this week highlighting all of the exciting classes available for Magnificent Mondays. Registration will open on Sunday, December 7th at 7:00 pm and will close on Tuesday, December 9th at 7:00 pm.
In order to make this event a success for our children, we need your help! We are seeking volunteers to be teachers’ assistants, attendance check-in assistants, and dismissal assistants. Please see the FAQs below to determine if you are able to help. If you can help with even one Monday, please sign up and make a note in “comment” of when you are available.
We are also looking for someone to run Magnificent Mondays next year! If you are interested in shadowing Carrie and Katie, please let us know!

- What time do you need me?
- From 2:45 to 3:15pm each Monday of the program
- What will I do?
- Walk Kindergarteners to their class
- Assist with attendance
Sign-Out Assistant FAQ
- What time do you need me?
- From 4:00 to 4:30 each Monday of the program
- What will I do?
- Check parent IDs at the door
- Assist with dismissal
Teacher Assistant FAQ
- What time do you need me?
- You may need to arrive a few minutes before class begins (at 2:50) and stay for a few minutes after class ends (at 4:20)
- What will I do?
- Assist the teachers in the classroom
- Assist with dismissal if you are able
